Configurate FBA (Forms Based Authentication) for SharePoint 2010

You should download this file for Configuration :

Step 1: Go to Central Aministrator -> Manage Web Application -> Add new

Step 2: Choose Claims Based Authentication for your Web Application, enter Port number

Step 3: Go to Application Management -> Choose Create new site collections and input data for your site collection

Step 4: Login to SQL Server Management -> Restore FBA_User Database. You can get backup file from zip file:

Step 5: Open Configuration Manager v1.1 and run exe file use administrator permission.

Step 6
: Change text like below, then click button. You must configure for both your current Web Application Url and Center Admin Url. It means you have run this 2 times with diffirent url


Step 7: Go to Central Administration -> Choose your Web Application -> Authentication Providers


Step 8: Choose default link

Step 9: Go to Central Administration -> Choose your Web Application -> Authentication Providers

Step 10: Go to Application Management -> Change site collection administrators

Step 11: Choose your site collection and add user Demo

Step 12: Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Products -> SharePoint 2010 Management Shell

Step 13: Run two commands lines below step by step

1. Add-SPSolution C:\Deploy\Visigo.Sharepoint.FormsBasedAuthentication.wsp

2. Install-SPSolution -Identity Visigo.Sharepoint.FormsBasedAuthentication.wsp –WebApplication http://buyin-test:81 –GACDeployment –Force

Step 14: Choose Site Actions -> Site Settings -> Site collection feature -> Active Forms Based Authentication Management Feature
